I have read some great reviews of the site and seen mentions of the "festival" atmoshere and guitar playing which is great. One or two reviews mention noise into the early hours which is not so great, do you have rules and how are they applied?

For the sake of other guests, noise is to be kept to a minimum between the hours of 10:30pm and 7:00am. We have security on site who makes sure everybody does so, but feel free to let them know, if you have any problems.

We have had an enjoyable stay at the campsite over the bank holiday, but we were very disappointed with the noise. There was a huge group behind us who were very loud into the small hours. We nipped up to the toilets at around 12.00am and all security guards were congregated at the top end. We felt that security guards should be making regular walks around the site to ensure everyone is complying with the late night rule. The second evening was much the same with children screaming at 10.00pm so loud that we couldn't hear eachother, so my husband went to complain. Fortunately, the security guards came and the situation was remedied, but it should not really have to get to the point where you need to complain.

I have just visited the camp site last week and was reaaly impressed how quite it was at night. I thought there would be endless rambling all through the night but nothing- maybe the pub closed early hahah.
