About the Charities:
Ashgate Hospice – Their aim is to provide, educate and campaign for excellent palliative and end of life care and bereavement support. Ashgate Hospice aspires to be a centre of excellence working as part of the wider health system with energy, openness and compassion.
Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen’s Trust – provides hospice care to patients across the Derbyshire Dales and wider North Derbyshire area, who are within the last 12 months of life, and who wish to be cared for in the comfort of their own home, with loved ones beside them. The service may be needed for reasons including: preventing hospital admission; carer respite; supporting complex needs; and during final phase, end of life care.
Anthony Nolan Charity – To save and improve the lives of everyone affected by blood cancer and blood disorders (including Stem Cell Researching/Matching).
